Carol Griggers Johnston, PT

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Carol is a native of Monroeville, Alabama.  She is married to JT Johnston and has 3 children.  She graduated in 1995 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Masters in Physical Therapy and furthered her degree at the University of St Augustine for Health Sciences, receiving a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2010.  Her specialty areas include manual therapy, orthopedic physical therapy, Pilates based rehabilitation, scoliosis specific exercise, and lymphedema therapy.  She is also certified in dry needling by Integrative Dry Needling and is LSVT Big Certified.

Barbara Chunn Thames, PTA

Barbara is a native of Monroe County. She is married to Robert Thames and has 2 children.  She is very outgoing and can be very entertaining. She completed her undergraduate degree from Troy University in 1996. She received her Personal Trainer Certification through AFAA in 2004. She continued her education and received her license as a Physical Therapy Assistant in 2009.
